We are delighted to welcome your furry friend to Snuffle Dog Cafe. 

  1. Prior to registering your dog with Snuffle Dog Café, you must have read, understood and agreed to comply with the following terms and conditions, to ensure the safety of your dogs and our staff. You must provide us with both your number and a nominated emergency contact number. You must also provide the name, address and contact details for your registered vet in the event we need to make contact for emergencies.
  2. We will assess all dogs before they can be booked in for day-care. You must agree to a tour of our facilities with your dog for assessment, before registering your dog for day care. All dogs that attend day-care must be good-natured, non-aggressive, sociable, and have a good level of basic training. We cannot accept dogs with aggressive behavioural tendencies.
  3. Once you have visited with your dog and both parties confirm their acceptance of suitability, please use our online booking system to enrol your dog with Snuffle Dog Café and book your day-care space. If, for any reason, our online booking system is unavailable, please call us on 07548126716 for day-care bookings.
  4. Your dog must wear a suitable secure fitted dog collar and lead complete with name tag. Your dog must remain on the lead during handover and pick-up. All dogs in our care must be fitted with a microchip.
  5. You will be asked to provide proof that your dog’s vaccinations are up to date.
  6. Your dog must be treated with a veterinary approved topical flea and worm treatment.  We may ask for proof of this & dates of application.
  7. We cannot accept bitches in season. If you think your bitch is coming into season. please inform us immediately. In these circumstances, you understand that it will be necessary to cancel your dog’s day care without notice. Any payment made will be refunded.
  8. All adult male dogs must be castrated. We cannot accept dogs who display signs of sexual maturity. We expect owners of puppies to have plans in place to get their dog castrated at an appropriate age when they are both physically and mentally mature enough.
  9. You must inform us of any aggressive behaviour your dog has shown towards people or other dogs. These include incidents that have occurred after enrolment. We cannot accept dogs with extreme behavioural problems.
  10. Should any dog show aggressive tendencies to people or other dogs whilst in our care, or become uncontrollable, you or your nominated emergency contact will be informed by phone immediately. We have a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to aggressive behaviour.
  11. We may terminate a service arrangement immediately if your dog has behaved badly or aggressively towards people, other pets or property. You will be liable if your pet injures a third party or any Snuffle day-care staff. 
  12. You accept that should we deem it necessary, staff may muzzle or crate your pet. However, this will only be carried out in exceptional circumstances, where there is thought to be risk to your dog, other dogs, or our staff.
  13. Please do not bring your dog if they are sick or have had recent surgery. Your dog will not be allowed in the facility if he/she is showing any signs of illness or infection such as: coughing, skin infections, parasite infections, sickness, diarrhoea, mucous discharge from eyes, ears, nose or genitalia. A full refund will be given in the event of your dog becoming sick.
  14. You agree to advise us in advance of any allergies your dog has and the times and details of any medication that you wish us to administer to your dog during their time with us. Medication will only be administered by the registered owner of Snuffle Dog Cafe.
  15. By using Snuffle Dog care, you acknowledge and understand that there are certain risks involved with dog day care and in caring for, handling and being in the presence of dogs, including but not limited to injuries to people, property and animals resulting from dog fights, dog bites to humans or other dogs and the transmission of disease. Snuffle dog care will put every precaution in place to avoid such occurrences.
  16. In the event your dog becomes ill, we will make every effort to contact you or your nominated contact and, in an emergency, transport your pet to your own vet, with all associated costs met by you. However, if we are unable to contact you, or if the situation is deemed time critical, your dog’s interests will become paramount, and we will take your pet to the nearest registered veterinary surgery for treatment. Any treatment given will be at the discretion of the vet, and payment will be your responsibility.
  17. You agree to be responsible for any additional charges, including but not limited to, payment for damage caused, vet fees and if you forget to provide food for your dog, any additional food required. These charges must be paid on collection of your dog.
  18. You recognise the risks associated with transporting your dog to and from Snuffle Dog Cafe, to a vet or on any walks and you expressively relinquish any and all claims against Snuffle Dog Cafe, or it’s representatives.
  19. During your dog’s stay, we may take photographs which we will use on our social media sites. If you do not want your dog’s photos to be used in this way, you must advise us in advance.
  20. You, the client, are responsible for any costs in the event that claims for loss or injury caused to Snuffle Dog Cafe, staff property, or other clients’ dogs which are caused by your pet or as a result of breach of these terms and conditions.
